A Red Day

Hello, my dear Readers! I feel a bit better now, buy just because I felt like sh*t yesterday and went to the doctor. I have a sinus infections accompanied with the worst headache ever. Took a day off, eating my antibiotics and feeling better. At least I'm not sneezing all the time anymore.

Is it just too weird that I know so many TBBT quotes by heart? Anyways... I had a red day. I recently bought myself another Essence Show Your Feet nail polish in Divalicious Red and lip tint from the latest Essence Hugs & Kisses trend edition. I guess I was too sick to read the label, 'cause I thought it was a lip gloss. Meh, who cares. 

This China Balm has been my saviour two days ago. I woke up in the middle of the night 'cause I couldn't breath through my nose and my throat didn't allow me to breathe through my mouth anymore. A little bit of china balm underneath my nostrils and breathing became somewhat possible again. 

Ingredients: Cera Alba, Lanolin, Camphor, Prunus Dulcis, Menthol, Olea Europaea, Mentha Piperita, Thymus Vulgaris, Rosmarinus Officinalis, Lavandula Angustifolia, Cymbopogon Flexuosus, Zingiber Officinalis, Citral, Linalool, Eugenia Caryophyllus, Eugenol, D-Limonen, Geraniol, Citronellol, Cumarin.

Great product to give your nose a bit of a kick, but damn it hurts when you apply it to the handkerchief-wounded skin under your nose. I also used it on my temples to soothe the headache and it helped a bit. 

If you look at the Essence trend edition display for long enough, you can convince yourself to buy at least one product. For me it was the lip tint in Save Your Kisses For Me from the Hugs & Kisses TE. I thought it was a lip gloss when I applied it and I still thought it was a very opaque lipgloss when I had it on my lips. I realized I was wrong when I tried to remove it and it wouldn't go off. Damn, it's a lip tint! That never happened to me before, so I'll blame it on my illness. 

Save Your Kisses For Me is a very bright red color. It has the same type of applicator you can find in the Stay With Me lipglosses. The application is pretty easy, but you have to be careful because this will really stain your lips. It applies like a lipgloss, but it looks more like a moisturizing lipstick once applied. I like the look of it, but I don't feel comfortable wearing it ever since I used Essence lip tint in True Love from the Vampire's Love TE. It faded in the middle of my lips after some time and left me with ''I only applied my liner and forgot about my lips'' look. *shrugs*

I couldn't believe I didn't own this shade of Essence Show Your Feet polish yet. Divalicious Red is a gorgeous classic red, not vampy and not too bright. Just the type I like. I bought it although I already own a very similar shade - Tip Top NailChic in Red Rendezvous which I'm wearing on my nails on the photo below. I think I'll try the Essence one soon. I'll post photos when I do, do not worry.
