Müller - Wildrosen Öl (Rosehip Oil)

I found a new favorite for my evening face care routine - Müller Wildrosen Öl otherwise known as Rosehip Oil. I use two drops of this oil after applying my regular evening-time face cream. I'm still using Himalaya Herbals Nourishing Skin Cream as I mentioned in some of my previous posts. And I love the way my skin looks after the combination of Himalaya and Wildrosen Öl.
Mueller Wildrosen Oel (Rosehip Oil)

Ingredients: Buxus Chinensis (Jojoba Oil), Prunus Dulcis (Almond Oil), Rosa Moschata (Rosehip Oil), Parfum.

The Wildrosen Öl is actually a mix of jojoba, almond and rosehip oil and it smells divine - a scent of wild roses which makes my evening face care routine even better. I have to say I'm not a big fan of rose-y scents. Most of them remind me of toilett air refresheners... but this one takes me back: I remember my aunt had a soap that smelled the same and I have really fond memories of those times. I've been using this oil every evening for the last two weeks and I adore it. It soaks in quite fast and it leaves my skin smooth and nourished. And it's even better the next day... The oils in this mix are low comedogenic, so they shouldn't cause any problems. I haven't gotten any pimples from it yet and based on the experience with my skin, if anything was going on, I would see it by now.

I bought the Wildrosen Öl in Müller for 7,69 € (100 mL). The oil comes in a glass bottle with a pump. So far I love pretty much everything about it. It would be great to use on other parts of body as well + hair, as long as you like the scent... Those of you who can't go to Müller and want something like this, there's a similar mix of oils by Weleda.

Do you use oils as a part of face care routine?

Thanks for looking and commenting!

    1. Uf, tudi arganovo olje imam, pa sem popolnoma pozabila nanj... Sploh ne vem kaj naj z njim poleg tega, da sem si ga danes dala na konice las.

    1. You should be able to find Weleda one, but I bet it's quite pricier from this one.

  3. When I really wear make up, as for a party, usually I wash my face afterwards with a cleansing oil from Garden of Wisdom. Other than that, sometimes I use an Elseve/L'Oreal oil for my hair and some moisturizing body oils - the ones you apply on wet skin and lightly wash before drying - the latter only during winter time. Having combination skin really makes me scared about applying oils on my face, I must admit. =P

    1. Some hair oils aren't actually oils but silicones... It's different when you put it on your hair. Silicones glide on so smoothly while oils are just, well, oily. I sometimes use oils on my wet skin after a shower too. It's better than any body lotion.

  7. Sounds great! I am reading up on oils now because I am using a medicinal creme that causes my face to flake a lot. I need intense moisture to compensate!

    1. I think it will works best if you use oils on wet skin. It really makes the moisture to stay in the skin... Well, it works for me.
