Burne-Jones Dream is a new a England nail polish collection. It consists of five holographic shimmery shades: Briar Rose (pink-ish), Fated Prince (green-ish grey), Rose Bower (red), Sleeping Palace (purple) and Briarwood (maroon - coming soon). I got four of them to swatch and review and I can say Adina definitely knows what she's doing. The 'not so in your face' non linear holographic shimmer she puts in her shades are like her signature to me... Although the holo effect isn't as strong as in some other holographic shades, a England polishes don't look boring when the light isn't hitting them (unlike with so many other holos). My instant favorite from the four shades was Sleeping Palace. The name, the color. Perfection!
a England, Sleeping Palace, 2 coats
Sleeping Palace is (as I mentioned above) a muted purple shade with holographic shimmer. It's quite opaque and could also be a 1-coater for some ladies. I used 2 coats for my swatches. The formula is nice and so was the application. It's like with other a England polishes - consistant quality. Sleeping Palace looks like a deep shimmery shade in low light and when the sun hits it, it starts to twinkle. It looks a lot better in real life than it does on my photos. If you're into shades like this one, get it, I bet your won't be sorry.
Shades from the Burne-Jones Dream collection will soon be available on a England website. Until then, you can contact Adina and ask for these babies. You can also find a England on Twitter and Facebook.
