Swatches & Review: Born Pretty Holo Polish #12

I was asked to do a review of the new Born Pretty Holo Polish not to long ago. It was supposed to be a great holographic polish, with great opacity and formula. I was very much interested... and what do I think about it now that I've tried it? Read on.

Born Pretty Holo Nail Polish #12

Born Pretty Holo Polish in shade #12 is a dark green holographic shade. The holo effect is visible, but it's not over the top. The polish doesn't look dull in low light which is great. The shade kind of reminds me of a washed down a England's Saint George. Well, they're obviously no dupes, but they're the closest in my collection. This Holo Polish has a great formula and the application was also very easy. The brush is nothing special, but it's easy to work with. I used 2 coats for full opacity. All in all... I must say it was a nice surprise. It's a great polish, but what's not so great is the size of the bottle. You only get 6 mL of this green holographic liquid for $12.88 (it's on sale at the moment, for $5.59). It's still a lot for a tiny amount of polish, but if you're into the color, go for it.

I made some outdoor photos, but the sun wasn't cooperating... It's prettier in real life.
