My previous China Glaze nail polish collection update didn't go too well - I was disappointed with the two shades from the Hologlam collection (you can read about my disappointment HERE) alhough I've read some good reviews before purchasing them. Maybe that's the reason I've hesitated for so long before buying two gorgeous shades from the Autumn Nights Collection. Two amazing purple cremes in Queen B and Charmed, I'm Sure.
My love for purple nail polish is crawling it's way back... I've had my share of blues and greens and now I'm back to the start.
China Glaze, Queen B, 2 coats
Queen B is a blurple creme. This one is so very pretty and everything I wanted it to be. Purples tend to photograph more towards the blue specter, but I could still see something in it... It's an amazing shade. The quality of this shade is just as great as the color. It's a one-coater (if you apply a slightly thicker coat of paint) but I used two thin coats for my photos. Great formula, good brush and application. All in all - perfection.
China Glaze, Charmed I'm Sure, 2 coats
Charmed I'm Sure is an eggplant purple creme. It's slightly less pigmented than Queen B, but still opaque in 2 thin coats. Great formula, brush and application. It looks darker in real life.
My previous China Glaze buy didn't end up the way I wanted it to, but this one was a total hit. These shades are really amazing (color wise) and the quality matches the shade awesomeness. It got me wondering though - do I ''need'' other shades from the collection too?
Did you get any of the shades from the China Glaze Autumn Nights Collection? What do you think of the shades from Autumn Nights?
