What do you get when you combine the art of dance with beauty and nail polish? You get a new collection by a England called Ballerina. Adina found the inspiration for the collection in two of the best ballet dancers Margot Fonteyn and Rudolf Nureyev who danced together in the Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty. Beautiful (love?) story behind 4 beautifully gentle holographic shades.
|Rudolf Nureyev and Margot Fonteyn|
a England, Encore Margot, 2 coats (silver with green-ish holographic shimmer and golden/bronze sheen)
a England, Her Rose Adagio, 2 coats (rose holographic shimmer and golden/bronze sheen)
a England, Fonteyn, 2 coats (silver with cool toned holographic shimmer and purple sheen)
a England, Dancing with Nureyev, 2 coats (blue holographic shimmer and purple sheen)
All four polishes from the Ballerina Collection contain holographic shimmer, which is more scattered than linear. They also contain a certain duochrome feature which is hard to describe, but looks pretty magical in real life. When looking at the bottles for the first time, I was sure Dancing with Nureyev was gonna be my favorite, but... I fell in love with Fonteyn the most. =)
The application was a breeze with all of them. I didn't use aqua base coat (base coat for holographic polishes) because I wanted to see how they behave on their own. I wasn't really surprised by how easy the application was, since I expect nothing less but perfection from a England. And that's exactly what I got. All four shades are opaque in 2 coats (yay!) and have great formulas.
You can get these polishes on a England online store. You can also find a England on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
