I was recently contacted by Amadeja from Unikat by Amadeja and asked to do a little review of one of her jewellery pieces. I got to pick my favorite piece and Amadeja offered one of her rings for you as well, my dear Readers.
Amadeja offers a variety of rings, necklaces and earrings (also in sets) on her website. All of her jewellery pieces come in pretty gift boxes. She currently ships to Slovenia only, but you can always contact her and ask for international shipping.
I browsed through her website and since I love rings, I chose this gorgeous amazonite ring. At first I was a bit worried the stones would eventually fall of, but I can see now there's no need to worry since the ring is quite sturdy.
Amazonite, a semi-opaque stone that was used extensively by the Egyptians, is called the stone of courage and is said to be named after the Amazon women warriors. Another legend says the name Amazonite comes from the belief that it was found in the Amazon river. (source)
Amazonite is a soothing stone. It calms the brain and nervous system and aids in maintaining optimum health. Balances the masculine and feminine energies. Amazonite helps you to see both sides of a problem or different points of view. It soothes emotional trauma, alleviating worry and fear. Dispels negative energy, aggravation and blockages within the nervous system. Amazonite assists in manifesting universal love. It protects against electromagnetic pollution and absorbs microwaves. The ring's size is adjustable, so you don't need to worry about your size and you can wear it on different fingers. P.S.: I'm wearing Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in Mint Sprint on my nails, in case you're wondering. And a little warning for you - this polish stains like crazy!
Amadeja offered this pink flower ring for a giveaway. If you like it and would like to own it, here's what you need to do: leave a comment below and tell me what's your favorite flower. That's all. =) I'll pick a winner on Sunday (July 7th) via Random Number Generator. The winner will be notified by email. This giveaway is open internationally.
You can find Amadeja on her website Unikat by Amadeja and on Facebook.
