I'll keep this as short as possible... I never was too enthusiastic about new year's eve and this year the level of my enthusiasm hit rock bottom. I just don't care. Well, I cared enough to go outside and try out the 'firework' setting on my little new-ish Nikon. Before I figured it out when to push the release button, half of the show was over... but I got some nice ones anyway.
Dance Legend Malta in no. 92 was one of the polishes I wore in the last couple of weeks. It looks great in real life and I have no idea why it makes my skin look so ashy on photo.
I believe someone commented on my Essie Sexy Divide post about S-he Stylezone 260 being very similar... I compared them and it turns out they're not that close. For those who care. =)
Peppermint Fusion by H&M. I wanted this one so much. And it end up dissapointing me with it's less than great opacity. Too bad it's a 3-coater.
I wore China Glaze Aluminate the other day (when my sister and I went on a shopping spree). I was scared it was gonna chip on me within the first 5 minutes, but it held up pretty well. This is how it looked after 48 hours of wearing. I know it's not much, but normally polishes chip on me very fast and this one is chrome, so... Good one.
I got a Quartz crystal pendant as a gift - it's supposed to be a pendant for those born in the aries zodiac sign, but I wanted this one anyway. Sagittarius (my sign) only had turquoise stones and I didn't want that one. I don't know much about crystals and their 'powers', but from what I've read, I could really use an amethyst and tiger's eye as well. If you know more about it, please, share your knowledge with me!
Fruits of the shopping spree. I loved these shoes the moment I saw them. My BF hated them, so I bought them the next time I went to store. With my sis. She's an enabler. =)
This underbust corset was gonna help me to sit up straight, but I find it too hard to wear it all the time. No, I really need help. I sit like a sack of potatoes most of the time and it's neither good for my health, neither does it look good. I bought this one on Ebay for around 10 €.
What do you do when you go to a store and try on a random ring, just because, and then you can't take it off? You buy it of course. And that's why I ended up walking from the store with this ring on my finger (it wasn't on the thumb though). A little bit of sad and a little bit of funny. The seller was amused but I'm pretty sure my BF was embarrassed.
Gravity. I expected so much of this movie. Not because of the actors or the story, but because of the critics and ratings. It wasn't bad, but not great either. I did not watch it in 3D though, so that might be one of the reasons I didn't like it as much. Did you see it?
Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. I believe I forgot to mention it in my last weekly sum-up. I saw this one in the middle of December and loved it. It was way better than the first part and I loved the new characters. My favorite was Thranduil. Such an ass, but an ass with style. =D
Oh, I loved the Laketown too. I'm not completely sure anymore, but I think I started squealing when I saw pugs in Laketown. This scenery and pugs. Perfection.
There will be no post links this time. I just don't have them... Meh, it will be better next time. =)
