It's been more than 3 months since I've purchased this nail polish and it took me a lot of time and now I'm finally showing it to you properly. I have mentioned it in one of my Weekly Sum-Up posts, but that photo was crappy as hell. This is Misslyn Leather Look nail polish in no. 86 aka Overknees.
I remember seeing this while I was in a drugstore with my sister. I liked the little paper thing on the cap that had a leather print and it said: Apply two layers of leather look nail polish and let it dry. After 5-10 minutes of drying the matt, rock-like effect will be visible and noticeable as well. Leather and rock? Sold! Well, I hesitated a bit and my sis was the one who 'made' me buy it. So, thanks, sis!
With all the effect nail polishes that came out last year, I knew it wasn't gonna look like leather... I still hoped for it, but knew it wasn't gonna happen. The result was a gritty black nail polish. Not leathery, but still pretty awesome to me. I wore it once and got hooked. Such a plain and simple polish, but edgy too. Well, some might call it just plain ugly, but who cares. =)
Misslyn Leather Look nail polish comes in two colors: brown and black. It's easy to apply, it dries fast and it's opaque in 1 thicker coat. Removal is just as easy as the application (it doesn't remove like glitter, so you won't need to use foil removal method with this one). Although it's a bit gritty to touch, it doesn't bother me when I wear it (just don't wear it the same time you're wearing delicate tights).
Thanks for looking and commenting!
