My collection of Dance Legend polishes just grew a little, so make sure to check my blog in future as well for more DL swatches. Smoky collection came out in Spring and the colors were perfect for spring time - pastels, but not the way we're used to see them. No, shades from the Smoky collection contain super small black shimmer which makes all the difference. Although the colors are nice and spring-y, they also look murky at the same time. Very original, in my humble opinion.
Smoky collection consists of 6 shades. You can see them all on Dance Legend online store. I got to swatch three of them. I picked: Cozy Sweater, Moorland and Cetraria.
Photos below show Smoky nail polish shades in both artificial (first two photos) and natural lighting (3rd photo).
Cozy Sweater, 2 coats
Moorland, 2 coats
Cetraria, 2 coats
What can I say? Dance Legend rocks. Not only are they capable of releasing more collections in one season, they're also capable of releasing original nail polish shades for that matter. So very refresing. =) Well, originality doesn't mean a lot if the polish is of poor quality, right? Fear not! Dance Legend people know what they're doing. The formula on these three polishes was great and consistent. It felt a bit runny and thin to me at first and it made me wonder how many coats it will take to achieve full opacity. Guess what. Two were enough. The application was easy thanks to formula and great flat brush (I love DL brushes!) and drying time was short. What more could you possibly want?
You can buy shades from the Smoky collection on Dance Legend online store for 9.00 USD. Check out their Facebook page for more information.
