If I don't start with the Catrice & Essence reviews and swatches right away, I'll never come to the end of all the pretty stuff I got. I won't be reviewing all of the products - it's obvious we got too many items to review them all, but I'll do my best to show you as much as possible. Let me know if there are any products that you're specifically interested in. Let's start with an easy one. A Catrice nail polish shade from the Luxury Lacquers Liquid Metal collection. This one is called LilacLike.
Catrice Luxury Lacquers Liquid Metal collection consists of 8 glitter packed shades (check out the colors HERE). The lacquers from this collection dry into a matte finish and have a slight texture once dry. They're not smooth, but don't get stuck in your clothes or hair. The best of both worlds, if you ask me. LilacLike is a deep true purple shade and while I was eye-ing the warmer I'm Legend-Berry shade first, I decided to go with cooler LilacLike in the end since it goes better with my skin tone.
Catrice, Luxury Lacquers, Liquid Metal, LilacLike, 2 coats
The first thing I noticed about this polish (besides its gorgeous color) was the brush. You know by now that I'm not a fan of bushy and wide Catrice nail polish brushes and was really happy to find out Luxury Lacquers have regular round brushes which are very easy to use. I had no problems with the application: brush or formula-wise and it took 2 coats for full opacity. It dries into a matte finish with a little texture. If you're not a fan of matte polishes and want to achieve the same look polish has in the bottle, just add a layer or two of top coat. Problem solved.
