a England - Elaine

Time for another a England shade (and long overdue as well). I got this shade together with The Blessed Damozel and although they're both purple, they are very different. Elaine is a beautiful smoky purple (described as smoky violet amethyst on a England website) and I fell in love with it immediately.

Elaine is a nail polish that's right up my alley in every aspect. I adore this muted, smoky purple shade that looks dark and edgy, but isn't too dark. The application was a dream and the opacity is great. It could be a 1-coater (one thick layer) but I prefer applying two slightly thinner coats of polish. The formula is great as well. I think I'll be wearing this one a lot and I definitely recommend it to all of you who dig this shade.

You can buy Elaine and other shades from the Mythicals collection on a England website. If you're located outside of the UK, check out the Where to Buy tab. You can also find a England on Facebook and Twitter

*Polish was sent to me for reviewing purposes.

Elaine aka The Lady of Shalott inspired nail polish deserves The Lady of Shalott music as well... ;)
